A Day in the Life of Sara

I wake up at 7:00 and get ready for school.  I have breakfast and leave for the school bus at about 8:00, which takes me to P.S.9.  Two blocks from my school is Central Park, which a very nice park in New York City. It is right in the middle of both the East Side and the West Side and is very popular.  There are playgrounds, biking and jogging paths, ponds, walking roads, along with everything else you’ve ever wanted in a New York City park.  Then, two blocks the other way is Broadway.  On Broadway there are many stores and things like that.  There are nice restaurants on Broadway and hardly any apartment buildings, except for the apartment buildings above the store.  Then, one block over from Broadway is West End Avenue. This is where most people live.  There are not stores, just apartment buildings and brownstones.  This is the same as Riverside Drive, which is four blocks from my school.  The park next to it is Riverside Park.  It is very pleasant also, but not as big as Central Park.  Also, three blocks to the North is The Museum of Natural History.  It is a very nice museum, and as many interesting exhibits.  You can see anything you’ve ever wanted to see!  After school, I go home by bus again. My house is right near Riverside Drive, and that is the park I go to.  There is a very big bike path all the way from the George Washington Bridge to Battery Park.  If you ever come to New York, you should go there. Also, on 96th St. and Broadway there is a theater called Symphony Space. It has very good shows all the time and that is another place you might want to go.
